Production in August-September
The production figures for August and September are considerably lower than in the preceding months. The reason for this is the temporary shutdown of units 1-4 for the implementation of the reconditioning process. During this period, only unit 5 and the two gas turbines were in operation.
We generated 404.4 GWh of electrical energy (of which 348.6 GWh was produced from Velenje lignite and 55.8 GWh from gas) for the electricity grid.
We transmitted 23.5 GWh of thermal energy to Komunalno podjetje Velenje for the purpose of district heating.
363,969 t of Velenje lignite and 16.4 million Sm3 of natural gas were used in the production process.
