Our attitude towards the natural environment in the
Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant is a responsible one and we are strongly included
in the social environment. Apart from
successful economic activity, we also follow the principles of permanent
development and expectations of the society. Apart from reliable production of
electricity, regular monitoring of operations and significant investments in
the social community we also actively plan our development predominantly to
increase the efficiency of the blocks.
We have established an integrated management system consisting of a quality
management system in accordance with the requirements of SIST ISO 9001:2008, an
environmental management system in accordance with SIST EN ISO 14001:2004, a safety
and health at work management system in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 and
the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 system. With the introduction of the integrated system,
all activities were connected in an efficient system leading to the realisation
of the vision and mission and long-term goals of the company. It ensures safe
and comfortable working conditions for our employees to ensure creative work. By
integrating individual management systems in the comprehensive integrated
management system we have introduced a philosophy of comprehensive quality
management (TQM).
